What is it that drives extreme athletes to risk their lives for their sport? What motivates society's risk takers to put everything on the line? Is it genetic? Is it psychological? Is it primitive? Ocean Vista Films selects three people - a young tri-athlete from Taiwan, a retired stuntman from Hong Kong and an outdoor adventure company owner from Borneo and enters them into an adventure race in the jungle of Malaysia. With the help of a sports psychologist, we monitor their training and their performance during the race to try and determine the driving force behind extreme sports athletes.
