cean Vista Films has a proven track record when it comes to live sports broadcasting and sports documentaries.

Our sports documentaries have appeared on National Geographic Channel, A1, ESPN, WINTV and regional free-to-air broadcasters.

Our specialized sports team produces documentary programming and video news releases on Asia 's biggest adventure racing series, the Action Asia Challenge. Each year, five races held in different countries with more than 330 competitors. From the jungles of Taiping in Malaysia to the villages of Coloane in Macau, each race course is around 40 km long. Athletes compete in disciplines such as tyrolean traverse, mountain biking, abseiling, kayaking, trail running, swimming and rope climbing.

These races are a logistical broadcasting challenge for the team at Ocean Vista Films. Camera crews are placed in helicopters, boats, underwater, on cliff faces, and motorbikes to bring audiences right amongst the action. We use the latest technology to put sports cams on the helmets, kayaks and mountain bikes of competitors for those up-close-and-personal shots of the action as it happens. Using multiple camera crews and a team of 20 producers, directors, assistants, drivers and pilots the Action Asia Challenge is as much a challenge to us as it is to the athletes. The final product combines the storytelling of the athletes, the high-risk photography of the camera crews and producers, and the illustrative graphics and maps of the courses to provide the ultimate in sports entertainment.

OVF has also produced a documentary on the history of television sport for Australia 's WIN TV. Called News Breakers, the special covers the past 40 years of sports broadcasting for the national broadcaster's Tasmanian network.

Ocean Vista Films also provides live sports broadcasting services to events such as the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens for Radio Television Hong Kong.

We are also dab hands at covering motor racing, surfing, cricket, football and international tennis.
